Speed Networking Event Raises Money For Cancer Resource Center

A speed-networking event recently raised $500 for the Cancer Care Fund through the Fairfield Medical Center Foundation. The donation will assist patients and survivors at the Fairfield Medical Cancer Resource Center.

On Nov. 2, the Fairfield County Health Partners held its Speed Networking Event at the Ale House 1890 in Lancaster. VITAS Healthcare, Caretenders VNA, Edward Jones, BioScrip, Home Helpers and Primrose Retirement Communities were the coordinators of the event, which included a 50/50 raffle.

“The Fairfield Medical Cancer Resource Center is honored to have been selected as the recipient of a donation from the Fairfield County Healthcare Partners recent fundraising event,” said Janice Novotni, coordinator of the Cancer Resource Center. “The funds will be used to provide comfort items for patients diagnosed with cancer at no cost to the patient.”
