Even though the heart and the lungs help the body in different ways, they are also linked together in many unique ways. When the lungs develop a rise in blood pressure, known as pulmonary hypertension (PH), it can affect the heart as well.
Fairfield Federal Savings and Loan recently was presented with the
Heart Safe Business Accreditation, a project of the Snider Community
Heart Watch at Fairfield Medical Center.
Nearly 200 people attended the Seventh Annual Sudden Arrhythmia Death
Syndromes (SADS) International Conference in Columbus on Nov. 1-3.
Fairfield Medical Center and the Sudden Arrhythmia Death Syndromes
(SADS) Foundation have presented three Pickerington schools – Harmon
Middle School, Pickerington Elementary and Violet Elementary – with the
Heart Safe School Accreditation.
