NEW Tobacco Cessation Program

Fairfield Medical Center is excited to announce a new Tobacco Cessation Program. This six-week program starts in October and is designed to help tobacco users kick the habit. Participants learn the risks of smoking cigarettes, using smokeless tobacco and smoking e-cigarettes (vaping), as well as the benefits of quitting for self and others. Donna Cunningham, MS, CNP, CRRN, is the new Tobacco Cessation Coordinator; she will be providing program participants with support and counseling to assist in developing a comprehensive plan to stop their tobacco use. Prior to her new role at FMC, Donna was a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner with 20+ years of nursing experience and a background in spine care, pain management, physical rehabilitation and medical/surgical nursing. She has 29 years of experience in healthcare and is passionate about smoking cessation.
